Through repositioning and redevelopment initiatives, we helped achieve more than a 2x MOIC on a $2.3B private equity office portfolio, and have led acquisitions delivering 20%+ IRRs across $2B of value-add and development investments in office, industrial and mixed-used assets.

John Woo has spent his career at the intersection of institutional capital and operational execution — running markets, building teams, and delivering measurable results across some of the most demanding real estate platforms in the country, including EQ Office (Blackstone) and Prudential Real Estate Investors (PGIM).
What he does is straightforward to describe and difficult to do well: translate strategy into execution, build the organizational systems to sustain it, and leave every market and every team measurably better than he found it. He has done that across a $2.3B multi-market portfolio at Blackstone, a $1.9B institutional portfolio at PGIM, and advisory engagements spanning institutional investors, private equity firms, and organizations navigating growth and complexity.
John is known as the go-to leader for the most challenging assets and situations — the person brought in when a market needs to be built, a portfolio needs to be turned around, or an organization needs to operate at a higher level. Having served hundreds of tenants and occupiers across virtually every industry throughout his career, he brings to advisory work a rare outside-in perspective on what organizations need from their real estate — and what it takes to deliver it.
